Steve continued to give a confuse look even when Loki explained, things just didn’t add up as Bruce had said, his mind was like a bag of cats which he understood well enough to mean crazy.
“So… your good?” He asked, everything was trying to fit into his mind and it wouldn’t as well, he knew Loki to be strange and want to rule so him saying he was good just didn’t make sense but if that is what he meant then he would be glad after all he didn’t have his shield so it meant he couldn’t fight.
He couldn’t help but smile at that. No matter how many ‘Steven’s he met, they all seemed to be innocent in their own ways. It was oddly charming and always amusing.
“Things such as ‘good’ and ‘evil’ are man-made concepts… never-the-less, I suppose that you would indeed call me… ‘good’… in a sense. However I much prefer the term ‘neutral’.”
“Is it so strange, Steven? That I have no desire to harm you?”
“Well from the last time I saw you and you was trying to kill us all.. Yes it is” He said honestly because he was an honest and innocent guy really, just in a different era and it was strange to see a man like that.
“So what have you been doing?” He asked curious and wanting to see how ‘good’ he was because Steve certainly didn’t believe him and his guard was still up, this could easily be a trick.
He would have mentioned that, technically, he did not believe that he had been the same Captain that he had fought with before his punishment on Asgard, but there would be no point in this.
“I’ve been attempting to live, Mr. Rodgers. I simply wish to live.”
“Is that not what people do here? Live? I simply wish to no longer be the monster that attacked Midgard.”
"That may take time but then again I think some people have forgotten about it" Steve mentioned as he looked towards Loki, sometimes he didn’t understand the world around him, when something happens it would turn out to be a huge thing then after a few months every person alive would be getting their life in order, Steve had been frozen for 70 years and he still wasn’t over that.
